On the developer front, the new iso image includes a shiny-new KDevelop 5 release for all your development needs. For those not familiar with KDevelop, it is described this way:
"Built on modern open source technology, the KDevelop IDE offers a seamless development environment to programmers that work on projects of any size. It is built by coders for coders and helps you get the job done while staying out of your way."

For both users and developers, KDE Plasma has seen it's August monthly bug fix release and as a result, KDE Neon has been updated to this latest Plasma release.

Finally, but not least importantly, Neon has also added the much missed Muon package manager due it hopefully having a new maintainer going forward. Note that Muon is not to be confused with Discover (formerly-named Muon Discover, which is an exciting application discovery tool and installer). Feel free to test and provide feedback if you'd like to help out.
Getting KDE Neon
KDE Neon can be downloaded in one of two flavors (User Edition and Developer Edition) from the Neon website at https://neon.kde.org/ and installed as one would install any Linux distribution. The community can be reached in a number of ways for questions, opinions, getting help, or just casual conversation. Check out the "Community" top-menu item at the link above to see all the many ways you can be social regarding KDE Neon. Additionally, the Kubuntu Forums now also has a KDE Neon section and appears to be pretty active.
